In the same period of 2024, exports totaled IDR 13.6 billion .
In terms of volume, the export reached 5,728.74 tonnes during January–May 2025, compared with 42,649 tonnes in 2024 .
The primary destination countries include Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Germany, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Vice Governor Nyanyang emphasized that although Kepri’s land area accounts for only about 4 percent of the province, its proximity to international markets like Singapore and Malaysia gives it a strategic advantage, making the province highly attractive in the global trade chain.
Moreover, authorities hope that this rising trend in coconut exports will continue throughout 2025, creating new opportunities for plantation areas across the province .
